Trailing Spouses on the Trail

November 21, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

What does Trailing Spouse Mean?

According to Wikipedia: A trailing spouse is used to describe a person who follows his or her life partner to another city because of a work assignment, most often associated with an expatriate assignment.

Are you a trailing spouse here in Holland struggling with, totally enjoying or somewhere in between the feelings of supporting your person while finding a way to flourish on your own terms?

Join other trailing spouses to share your experience, strength and wisdom while we take a walk in the woods.

All partners and spouses of international hires welcome regardless of nationality, sexual orientation or gender identity.

How to find us
We will meet at Den Haag Centraal just outside the information office at 2 p.m. and walk 5 minutes to the Hague Forest. Kimberly will have a Wildwood Wisdom sign for easy spotting.

Be Prepared
Dress comfortably for walking on natural terrains. Bring a water bottle, but little else so you are unencumbered for your walk. Participants will be asked to silence their phones, so let folks know you will be unavailable for a couple of hours.

All participants of any of Wildwood activities are personally responsible for their own fitness, safety and welfare and must be equipped accordingly.

In the event of cancellation due to severe weather, participants will be notified by 10 a.m. the day of the event.
