Outdoor Life Coaching Training

December 26, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Join International Outdoor Life Coaching trainer Kimberly Knight in the Sunshine State the day after Christmas to unwrap the gifts of Outdoor Life Coaching.

During this 1-day training course you will learn the basics you need to partner with nature in your coaching practice. We will explore together the powerful benefits of coaching and therapeutic encounters outdoors which you can use to integrate in your profession immediately.

During the training we’ll withdraw from daily life to reflect on the purpose and meaning of your life while you learn powerful outdoor coaching techniques and methods.

The training courses are useful for professionals such as (life)coaches, pastors, counselors, psychotherapists, social workers, career coaches, trainers etc.

We will explore the gifts of outdoor life coaching in the beautiful Stump Pass State Park on the remote end of Manasota Key in Englewood, Florida. At Stump Pass State Park, surrounded by inviting waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Lemon Bay, you may see a variety of wildlife such as ospreys, Southern bald eagles, fiddler crabs and wading birds, plus plants such as prickly pear cactus, indigo berry, red mangroves, black mangroves and buttonwood.

About your guide:

I am am an international trainer authorized to give trainings in the United States by the International Institute for Outdoor Life Coaching, situated in the Netherlands. I have been leading therapeutic nature encounters in the old forests of Europe for the past five years and was trained in the extraordinary art of Outdoor Life Coaching.

I earned my M.Div. from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology where my studies focused on progressive and liberation theologies. While at Candler I engaged deep study of pastoral counseling, contemplative practices, constructivist pedagogy and a myriad of soulful shenanigans.

I am also:

Veriditas trained labyrinth guide;
an ANFT nature therapy guide student
and deeply engaged in Active Hope learning experiences.

The golden thread running through my life’s journey is a persistent calling to find, as Frederick Buechner describes, the place where my deep gladness meets the world’s deep hunger.
