My particular style of life and relationship coaching is blended with over 20 years of progressive pastoral care experience. I work in outdoors settings such as Amsterdamse Bos, Leidse Hout Park and haagse Bos to partner with nature in connecting outer and inner landscapes. The process of outdoor coaching helps you reconnect with your most authentic nature, access your organic intelligence and learn to look at daily challenges through the eyes of nature and use its strategies to live better.

I work with a sliding scale of fees so that everyone who seeks care and coaching has access to such services. The range is between €25-€50 per hour, but please don’t let money stand in the way. Affordable arrangements can be made for everyone.
Online and outdoor appointments are available.
I am currently available between 16:00-21:00 weekdays and between 10:00-17:00 on weekends.

A bit about me
The golden thread running through my life’s journey is a persistent calling to find, as Frederick Buechner describes, the place where my deep gladness meets the world’s deep hunger.
After working for decades in the technology sector, I changed paths to respond to the still small voice calling me to pastoral work. I earned an M.Div from Candler School of Theology after which I continued my pastoral education through the ACPE certified clinical pastoral education at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
I am currently working in an international school in The Netherlands where I moved with my wife three years ago. Once upon a time I worked as:
a director of digital strategy in higher education, social media “circuit rider” for a progressive Christian denomination, an online organiser for The Beatitudes Society, an instructional technology specialist at an Atlanta charter school (of which I am also a contributing founder). I’ve even spent portions of my life’s work in stage management, aerial photography and overnight, educational tours at Zoo Atlanta!
I’m a fan of labyrinth walking, lectio divina, guided meditation, forest bathing, cairn building, bluegrass music, Mary Oliver, John O’Donohue and kickball!
